The Crockett County Touchdown Club
Today, much is needed in the way of both activities support as well as financial support in order to maintain a high performing Class 3A high school football team in the state of Tennessee.
Crockett County High School's Cavalier football team is a very high performing team which finished second in the state in 2001 after losing to Austin-East in the state title game. The Cavaliers also reached the state semi-finals in 2002 and the quarterfinals in 2003. The Cavaliers went undefeated in the regular season in 2002, 2003, and again in 2006. They have won three Region 6AAA Championships in 2000, 2002, and also 2003. Last year the Cavaliers won their first Region 7AAA championship.
The Crockett County Touchdown Club is an organization dedicated to the support of the Crockett County High School football team. Many of the members are parents of current players. However, there are a number of members who do not have sons on the football team. It is also made up of alumni of Crockett County High School who wish to support their team. In any case, you are invited to join the CCHS Touchdown Club.
